Symptom Tracker
Keeping a detailed symptom history can feel like another job. Talk or type in your journal, and Advoca structures what you share into clear daily, weekly and monthly views you can review before an appointment.
A symptom tracker that starts with your own words
Advoca turns ordinary journal conversations and typed notes into a structured symptom history. It keeps details such as severity, activity impact, onset, pattern, site, associated symptoms and your comments together, making changes easier to review and discuss with a healthcare professional.
“If you are having symptoms, write down details before the visit.”
Describe your day, without filling in every field
Tell Advoca what happened in a journal conversation, or type it in your own words. It automatically structures the symptom details you share, so building a useful record takes less effort.
- Talk naturally about symptoms and how they affected your day, keeping logging manageable
- Capture severity, activity impact, onset, pattern, site, associated symptoms and comments in one history
See one day’s symptom severity clearly
A daily chart brings recorded symptom events into one view. You can check which symptoms were logged and their reported severity without piecing the day back together from separate notes.
- View recorded severity across the day to review a busy symptom day at a glance
- Keep free-text context in the underlying history for details that a chart cannot show
Step back and review the week
Weekly stacked charts and heatmaps help you review how recorded severity or activity impact changed across several symptoms. The two measures stay in separate views, so the metric is always clear.
- Switch between stacked charts and heatmaps to use the weekly view that is easiest to scan
- Review severity separately from activity impact, without mixing two different measures
Bring a clearer history to your next appointment
Monthly views and rule-based Quick Insights can make a longer record easier to review before a healthcare appointment. Premium unlocks history beyond two weeks, symptom-filter changes, full Insights and chat access to structured symptom data.
- Review monthly severity or activity-impact views with premium, using more than recent memory
- With premium, ask chat to search your structured history alongside its other tools and trusted medical evidence

Less effort between appointments
I have chronic pain and am neurodivergent… I struggle to explain what and where I am feeling things, so this is so helpful. You can journal your symptoms.
Daily written summaries make it much easier to organise your thoughts… symptoms, concerns and questions stay in one place.
It was clear and to the point, and easy to follow with helpful information and what I could possibly ask or say to the doctor.
How Advoca compares with a typical symptom tracker

Your questions, answered
Is the symptom tracker free?
You can use the symptom tracker for free, with clear limits: free users can view the last two weeks, see the top six symptoms without changing the filter, and preview the first Quick Insight. Premium unlocks longer chart history, symptom-filter changes, full Insights and chat access to structured symptom data.
What symptom details can I record?
Advoca can structure severity, activity impact, onset, pattern, site, associated symptoms and free-text comments from what you share in your journal. Only details you record can become part of your history.
What charts can I see?
The tracker has daily, weekly and monthly views of recorded severity or activity impact. Depending on the view, these appear as stacked charts or heatmaps. Severity and activity impact are shown separately.
What are Quick Insights?
Quick Insights are short sentences produced by fixed rules from patterns in your recorded data. Free users can preview the first one; full Insights require premium. They are not a diagnosis or clinical interpretation.
Can Advoca help me prepare for an appointment?
Yes. You can review the history and charts to refresh your memory and prepare details to discuss. With premium, chat can search your structured symptom history alongside its other tools and trusted medical evidence to help prepare notes or questions. Advoca does not diagnose or replace professional advice.
